Terms of Service
Last updated May 7, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Lead Engine website or extension (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Account & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure.
- One person per account; do not share credentials.
3. Subscription & billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. The price shown on /pricing applies; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated; the prorated amount is invoiced on the upgrade.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are at our discretion. Email billing@mapsleadengine.com if you believe you were billed in error.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of Google Maps Terms or applicable law.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, scoring algorithms, or licensing checks.
- Resell, white-label, or redistribute the extension without permission.
- Send unsolicited messages that violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) — the AI outreach generator is a tool, you remain responsible for your sending practices.
- Use the Service to infringe third-party rights or to harvest personal data outside of business contact information that businesses have publicly published.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including the extension code, scoring algorithms, UI, and brand, is owned by Lead Engine. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it while your account is in good standing. Lead data you save remains yours.
6. Termination
You can close your account from the dashboard at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully, or that have unpaid invoices.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". Lead scores and AI outreach suggestions are informational; you are responsible for the accuracy of any outreach you send and the suitability of any prospect for your service. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Lead Engine is registered. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. (Specify the exact jurisdiction here once your entity is incorporated.)
