Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Lead Engine ("Lead Engine", "we", "us") operates the Lead Engine website and the Lead Engine Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service"). For privacy questions, contact privacy@mapsleadengine.com.

2. What data we collect

• Account data. Email address (required to sign in via magic link), and the first/last name you optionally provide on your profile.
• Subscription data. Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, plan tier, status, and billing-period dates. We do not store payment-card details — those live with Stripe.
• Usage data. Daily count of extension scrapes and AI outreach generations, retained per day so we can enforce plan limits.
• Saved leads (Agency tier only). If you sync leads from the extension, we store the publicly-visible business name, category, phone, website, rating, review count, and Maps URL plus the opportunity score we computed.
• Search history. Queries you run from the extension and the resulting lead counts, so the dashboard can show your Recent Searches.
• Cookies. A Supabase auth session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How the extension uses data

The Chrome extension reads the Google Maps DOM only on pages you actively visit, scoring listings locally. Lead data stays in your browser unless you explicitly export a CSV or, on the Agency tier, sync to your dashboard.

We do not run any advertising scripts inside the extension, do not read or store any data from non-Google-Maps tabs, and do not send the full DOM to any server.

4. Sub-processors

• Supabase — authentication and Postgres database for profile, subscription, usage, and saved-lead records.
• Stripe — subscription billing, payment processing, tax calculation.
• Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
• Google Maps— the extension reads pages you load from Google Maps; your interaction with Google Maps is governed by Google's Terms.

5. Retention

Account, subscription, and saved-lead records are kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise these records within 30 days, except where law requires us to retain them longer (typically Stripe billing records for tax compliance).

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email privacy@mapsleadengine.com.

You can also delete your account directly from the dashboard at any time.

7. Changes to this policy

When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
